MK-ultra (Introduction to)

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia on the Internet has helped me learn a lot of technical things from Kiln building to casting bronze by showing me other places to look. It is pretty much as far as I can see a wonderful asset. To learn more about MK-ultra I started at Wikipedia. Among other things I found that at least thirty Universities were involved in studies looking for mind control drugs to help the CIA find the ever elusive (??????) truth serum. I first learned of the famous Chemist Owsley while in El Paso Texas in the fall of 1969. By 1969 “Owsley acid,” had become revered by acid heads all over the country. I’m referring to Lysergic Acid Diethylemide, or LSD. It was dumped on America by the CIA through those 30 Universities. I’m not just blowing smoke. I put it together the minute I read the connection between the Universities and “Drug trials,” in the 60’s. If in doubt read ONE FLEW OVER THE CUKOO’S NEST by West Coast LSD Guru Ken Kesey.
Then read THE ELECTRIC KOOL-AID ACID TEST by Tom Wolfe. Tom brought us THE RIGHT STUFF and many other unquestioned well investigated books. His research is undeniably well done and correct. THE ELECTRIC KOOL-AID ACID TEST was Mr. Wolfe’s historical novel written about the adventures of LSD Guru Ken Kesey. Wolfe took much of the dialogue word for word from the constant tape recording and video recording Ken Kesey did in the early days of flower power. The anti-war flower power up the man movement didn’t have anything to do with the free love and turn the world on to LSD movement of Ken Kesey, but who was there to tell.
What really blows my mind is the fact that the seratonin uptake inhibitor drugs like PROZAC that is being fed our depressed over extended troops to keep them in combat was developed from the same work that the CIA’s Dr. Gottlieb did. Before Gottlieb burned all his notes on HIS unauthorized testing of LSD on Convicts and soldiers, and people in studies where Owsley first practiced his craft, Kesey befriended Owsley. I was well aware of Owsley long before Tom Wolfe wrote the book.
The Special Forces worked for ,”The company,” a lot in the war in Vietnam. Intelligence, Etc. In a round about way that was how I found out about LSD from the GI mentioned in the previous writing-Pvt. Dooley. I was fat and slow on the land-sweeps.
It was the Green Beret that gave me my first black amphetamine pill to keep me moving faster and I thought for the longest time they were designed so we could drink more beer when given the opportunity. What really blows my mind is what blew my mind was developed by ex-(???) Nazi scientists picked up by the OSI (Office of Scientific Research) through Operation Paper Clip when the Russians and the OSS were soliciting Nazi scientists to work on truth serums. We brought the Nazi’s here. We found out about many of them during the Nuremberg trials of Nazi war criminals.
At one point my nationwide search for the perfect trip brought me to San Francisco and Haight-Asbury. And on Golden Gate Ave I saw the Apartment where Gen. Cinque of the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) had kept Patty Hearst while the FBI watched from an apartment across the street. Little round holes in the plaster were all over that place where the FBI had recovered their bugs.
This is a lot to process for one day. I’m going to bring it around where Kesey met Owsley at a mental hospital drug experiment for LSD and the two of them turned on America- with Timothy Leary’s help. And show how the first Bush and Jesse Helms HAD to be part of it. American madness brought to you by our super-heroes, our unquestioned leaders in peace and war. Why Frank Sinatra’s THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE struck so close to home it wasn’t released.
The soldiers experimented on were ordered compensation, but they have never got it. The drug companies may be through experimenting with Prozac by virtue of the fact that it has the FDA approval but one vet pointed out that doesn’t mean the US Military is through with what it can do with it.

I knew I was right but had no idea of how right. And the things I’ve seen can be passed off as old hippie madness even though I was a GI. The saying was shot at and missed, shit at and hit. But my version just keeps going and shit at and shit at and shit at, but this cagey bastard ducked.
And oh yeah I have more studying and remembering to do- like Aldous Huxleys article i read in either Rolling Stone before eit went commercial or HIGH TIMES. In either case we thought he was a young hippie talking about travelling to mexico with his wife to find and try some exotic “majic mushroom”- that it turned out he studied and whose work coincided with the CIA’s studying of LSD under that asswipe Helms and his good buddy who helped start the hippie movement- The first George Bush.
It is known and documented that Dr Tim Leary and Ted Kozinski, AKA the ‘uni-bomber’ were part of the MK-Ultra experiment.
I have a lot of studying and reading to do, confirm, and understand. It’s common knowledge that Frank Sinatra’s movie THE MACHURIAN CANDIDATE was not released when it was supposed to be because of it’s then very controversial idea that the Russians could “brainwash” prisoners of war to come home and subconsciously do bad deeds for the Russians. So while it is interesting and historical to find the connections between our “Bad” and crap for brain politicians to use this kind of thinking for profit and we were even warned by President Eisenhower about the military industrial complex getting away from us we also have to remember why it was there in the first place. That In Red China Communism failed under Mao because when he inspected the thriving farms of China they were only the farms located near the train tracks, and most of China starved, Millions starved to death. And that while Russia begged us for help against the Nazi’s we made the miltary decision that it would be better to sacrafice Moscow while we built an army in England that COULD conquer the Nazi’s. We had plenty of reasons to worry about Communism and while we can point our finger at the CIA and say LSD and PROZAC we can also point our finger at Fidel castro and Che-Gueverra and see mass murders in South America and their financing by the cocaine trade.
